FOOD THAT ENDURES TO ETERNAL LIFE

John 6:27

WHAT IS THE FOOD THAT ENDURES TO ETERNAL LIFE, WHICH THE SON OF MAN WILL GIVE US?

Proverbs 9:5
"Come, eat my food and drink the wine I have mixed.

John 6:53 Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

THEREFORE, THE FOOD THAT ENDURES TO ETERNAL LIFE IS THE FLESH OF THE SON OF MAN AND THE WINE IS HIS OWN BLOOD THAT HE IS OFFERING TO US.

John 6:51
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."

HOW DO WE PARTAKE OF THE BREAD AND WINE THAT THE SON OF MAN IS OFFERING TO US?

John 6:35 
Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

ONE OF THE ESSENTIAL STEPS TO PARTAKE OF THE BREAD JESUS IS OFFERING IS TO COME TO HIM AND BELIEVE IN HIM.

WHAT ARE WE TO BELIEVE IN JESUS?

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 5:8 
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

WE MUST BELIEVE THAT CHRIST DIED FOR US TO ATONE FOR OUR SINS AND THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD.

WE MUST BELIEVE IN THE WORDS OF CHRIST AND BELIEVE IN GOD WHO HAS SENT HIM.

THERE IS A NEED TO RECEIVE THE BAPTISM THAT CHRIST IS OFFERING.
WE MUST REPENT, TURN TO GOD, AND BELIEVE IN THE NAME OF CHRIST JESUS FOR FORGIVENESS OF ALL OUR SINS.

I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.

WE MUST TURN TO GOD IN REPENTANCE AND HAVE FAITH IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

IN RECEIVING CHRIST AND THE BAPTISM OF CHRIST, WE ARE CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST, AND WE ARE BORN IN A NEW LIFE IN CHRIST.

CHRIST THEN LIVES IN US.

WHEN THIS HAPPENS, WE THEN BECOME UNITED WITH CHRIST, AND THUS:

to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'

THUS, OUR EYES WILL BE OPENED FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT, AND WE WILL BE REDEEMED FROM THE POWER OF SATAN, THROUGH THE POWER OF GOD, AND THAT WE MAY RECEIVE THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS AND BE SANCTIFIED BY OUR FAITH IN CHRIST.

THOSE WHO HAVE RECEIVED CHRIST, AND BELIEVED IN HIS NAME, HAS BEEN GIVEN THE RIGHT TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD.

WE WILL KNOW THAT WE BELONG TO GOD'S CHILDREN: WHEN WE FOLLOW THE COMMANDMENT OF LOVING ONE ANOTHER AS CHRIST HAS LOVE US.

BELIEVING IN CHRIST ALSO MEANS DOING WHAT HE COMMANDED, WHICH IS TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS HE HAS LOVED US.

HOW DID CHRIST LOVED US?

MAY WE OBSERVE HUMILITY BEFORE GOD AND MEN, AND IF EVER WE FORGET THIS, LET US REFLECT ON GOD'S WORDS TO BRING US AGAIN TO THE PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

IN EVALUATING MYSELF, THROUGH INTROSPECTION AND REFLECTION OF MY LIFE, I HAVE FOUND MYSELF TO FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD, AND HAVE SINNED TO GOD, IN SPITE OF EVERYTHING I HAVE DONE TO SERVE GOD AND FELLOWMEN.

SINCE ETERNAL SALVATION CANNOT BE FOUND APART FROM GOD, THROUGH CHRIST, A LIFE WORTHY OF LIVING TILL DEATH IS A LIFE CENTERED ON GOD, THROUGH CHRIST.


Philippians 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.


THEREFORE, THERE IS NO LIFE WORTH BETTER LIVING THAN A LIFE CENTERED ON CHRIST, TILL THE END OF ONE'S LIFE.


I CONCLUDE THAT EVEN THOUGH ALL THE WORKS I WOULD DO WOULD FALL SHORT OF GOD'S GLORY, IT IS BETTER TO DO GOD'S WILL THAN NOT TO DO ANY OF IT.


IN DOING GOOD, LET US BE REMINDED THAT IT IS GOD WHO IS DOING GOOD THROUGH US AND THAT GOODNESS DID NOT COME FROM US.


THEREFORE, ALL THE OUTREACH, THE MISSION WORKS, AND ALL GOODNESS THAT WE SEE AND HAVE KNOWN IS NOT FROM THE PERSON/S, GROUP/S, ORGANIZATION/S PER SE, BUT IS THROUGH THE INSPIRATION OF GOD.


THEREFORE, ALL GOODNESS THAT WE DO COMES FROM GOD AND NOT FROM US.


THEREFORE, THE RIGHT ATTITUDE TO ADAPT IS THAT IN ALL GOOD THINGS, WE GIVE GLORY TO GOD.


SINCE ALL GOODNESS COMES FROM GOD, WHETHER WE ARE THE DOERS OF IT OR OTHERS, MAY BEING INSTRUMENTS OF DOING WHAT IS GOOD NEVER LEAD TO SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS, NOR PRIDE, NOR ARROGANCE, NOR CONCEIT- BUT MAY THESE LEAD US TO THANK GOD AND GLORIFY GOD, AND REALIZE GOD'S PRESENCE IN OUR DAILY LIFE.
