BUYING THE TRUTH AND NOT SELLING IT

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.


THIS VERSE NOTES THE SUPREMACY OF WISDOM.
UNDERSTANDING IS VERY ESSENTIAL, THAT THOUGH IT MAY COST ALL THAT WE HAVE, WE HAVE TO GET IT.


Proverbs 23:23 Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding.


THIS VERSE EMPHASIZE THAT WE BUY TRUTH, AND THIS TRUTH WE DO NOT SELL.
THIS VERSE ALSO STATE THAT WE GET WISDOM, DISCIPLINE, AND UNDERSTANDING.


WHAT TRUTH WE NEED TO BUY AND DO NOT SELL?


John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.


JESUS IS THE TRUTH WE NEED TO BUY AND DO NOT SELL.


HOW DO WE BUY THIS TRUTH?


Matthew 13:44 "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.


Matthew 13:46 When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.


WE BUY IT WITH ALL THAT WE HAVE, AND NEVER SELL IT....


WHAT DO WE MEAN BY SELLING THE TRUTH?


Matthew 26:15 and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins.


Matthew 10:4 Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.


WE SELL THE TRUTH BY THE BETRAYAL OF THE TRUTH.


WHEN WE BETRAY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WE SELL HIM, BECAUSE HE IS THE TRUTH.


HOW DO WE BETRAY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST?


Hebrews 6:4-6 
It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.


THIS IS THE REAL BETRAYAL OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST....


THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BOUGHT THE TRUTH (WHO HAVE ACCEPTED OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND GAVE UP ALL THAT THEY HAVE FOR CHRIST), AND SOLD THE TRUTH (AFTER ATTAINING TO CHRIST, AND THEY FALL AWAY- AND ARE LOST).


IT IS LIKE THE BETRAYAL OF JUDAS ISCARIOT TO OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST....


THIS IS THE DEEPER MEANING OF THIS SCRIPTURE...


HOW OFTEN DO WE SELL THE TRUTH (OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST) AFTER BUYING THE TRUTH (ATTAINING TO OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST)?


Hebrews 10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,


AFTER RECEIVING THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH (WHICH IS ACCEPTANCE OF CHRIST, AND HAVE RECEIVED THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT,
IF WE DELIBERATELY SIN- MEANING, WE INTEND AND WE WILL TO SIN....
THIS IS SELLING OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST....


AS WE INTENTIONALLY SIN, THERE IS NO SACRIFICE LEFT FOR SINS.


1 John 5:16 If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that.


THE SINS THAT NOT LEAD TO DEATH MEANS THE SINS THAT WE COMMIT UNINTENTIONALLY, OR BECAUSE OF OUR OWN WEAKNESSES AS HUMAN BEINGS.


OUR BODY IS SUBJECT TO TEMPTATIONS, WEAKNESSES, DESIRES AND CRAVINGS AND THAT THERE ARE TIMES REALLY THAT WE CANNOT AVOID SINNING.


GOD UNDERSTANDS THE FRAILTY OF OUR NATURE AND PREDISPOSITION TO SIN.


THE SINS NOT COMMITTED WILLFULLY CAN BE FORGIVEN.


BUT SINS WE COMMIT WITH FULL CONSENT OF OUR HEARTS, AND FULL RESIGNATION OF OUR WILL, DECIDING TO SIN WILLFULLY, THESE ARE THE SINS THAT LEAD TO DEATH.


THEREFORE, THE JUDGE OF THIS IS GOD, WHO CAN READ THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF PEOPLE, AND KNOW OUR TRUE INTENTIONS.


UNLESS WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO READ THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF PEOPLE, WE CANNOT JUDGE WITH FULL CERTAINTY IF THE SIN IS COMMITTED WILLFULLY OR UNINTENTIONALLY.


BECAUSE OF THIS LIMITATIONS, THERE IS THE PROVISION IN THE SCRIPTURE THAT SAYS THIS:


Matthew 7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged.


SINCE WE POSSESS LIMITATIONS, AND WE TOO COMMIT SIN, WE ARE BEING PROHIBITED FROM JUDGING OTHERS UNLESS WE WANT TO BE JUDGED TOO.


Romans 14:10 You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat.


WHO CAN STAND UP TO GOD'S JUDGMENT, USING THE STANDARDS THAT WE USE ON OTHERS?


Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.


THOSE WHO DO NOT JUDGE WILL NOT BE JUDGED.
THOSE WHO DO NOT CONDEMN WILL NOT BE CONDEMNED.
THOSE WHO FORGIVE WILL BE FORGIVEN.


THIS VERSE IS THE KEY FOR US TO BE ABLE TO STAND UP IN GOD'S JUDGMENT WITHOUT FEAR OR WORRY OF BEING CONVICTED.


WE DO NOT JUDGE, WE DO NOT CONDEMN, AND WE FORGIVE.


Romans 14:13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's way.


INSTEAD OF BEING A JUDGE OF OTHERS, LET US NOT BECOME AN OBSTACLE IN THE WAY OF OUR BRETHREN.


1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.


WE OUGHT NOT TO JUDGE ON ANYTHING BEFORE THE TIME THAT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST COMES, WHERE CHRIST WILL BRING TO LIGHT EVERYTHING THAT IS HIDDEN IN DARKNESS AND WILL EXPOSE THE MOTIVES OF MEN'S HEARTS.


THEREFORE, WE OUGHT NOT TO JUDGE ABOUT THE WRONGDOINGS OF ANYONE.


WHAT WE DO IS THAT WE FORGIVE OTHERS FOR THE WRONG THEY HAVE DONE TO US, AND WE DO NOT CONDEMN ANYONE.


James 4:11 Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.


THEREFORE, WE DO NOT SLANDER OR SPEAK AGAINST ANYONE NOR PASS JUDGMENT ON ANYONE.


WHAT WE DO IS WE KEEP GOD'S COMMANDMENT INSTEAD OF BEING A JUDGE OF IT.


WHAT IS THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD?


John 13:34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.


Galatians 5:14 The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."


THEREFORE, TO FULFILL THE ENTIRE LAW, AND COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, THERE IS REALLY A NEED TO LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR AS OURSELVES.


LIVING A LIFE OF LOVE, BASING ALL OUR INTENTIONS, OUR DEEDS AND ACTIONS IN LOVE IS NECESSARY IN THE FULFILLMENT OF GOD'S COMMANDMENTS.


Ephesians 5:2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.


WHEN WE HAVE BOUGHT THE TRUTH OF CHRIST, IT IS THE ACCEPTANCE OF CHRIST AND GIVING UP EVERYTHING TO ATTAIN TO CHRIST.


THE TRUTH OF CHRIST AND LOVE ARE NEVER SEPARATE: FOR GOD IS LOVE.


THEREFORE, WE LOVE AS WE HAVE THE TRUTH OF CHRIST IN US.


WE DO NOT SELL THE TRUTH- THAT IS- BETRAYING CHRIST AND BETRAYING THE LOVE OF CHRIST WILLFULLY AND INTENTIONALLY.


THEREFORE, IN SUM OF THE DEEPER ANALYSIS AND MEDITATION OF THE SPIRIT OF THIS TEACHINGS, THE TRUTH IN CHRIST IS LOVE.


THEREFORE, LOVE IS THE KEY FOR LIVING THE LIFE BASED ON CHRIST- LOVING ONE ANOTHER AS CHRIST HAVE LOVED US.


CHRIST GAVE HIS LIFE FOR US, SO THAT WE MAY BE RECONCILED WITH GOD.


IN ATTAINING TO THE TRUTH, WHICH IS ATTAINING CHRIST WITHIN US, WE OUGHT TO GIVE OUR LIVES FOR OUR BRETHREN FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST.


HOW DO WE GIVE OUR LIVES FOR OUR BRETHREN? BY LOVING OUR BRETHREN.


THE MISSION WORKS AND CHARITY WORKS THAT WE DO HAS ITS ROOTS IN LOVE.


OUR LIVES WE OFFER FOR OTHERS WHEN WE DO GOOD TO OTHERS, AND WE HELP OTHERS IN THEIR NEED.


A PART OF OUR LIFE WE GIVE TO THEM, WHEN WE SHARE OUR SUSTENANCE WITH THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED.


AND ALL THESE ACTIONS IS BASED ON LOVE....


LOVING ONE ANOTHER AS CHRIST HAVE LOVED US....
