GIFT OF TONGUES (LANGUAGES), MYSTERIES, KNOWLEDGE:


1 Corinthians 12:10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.


THEREARE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT CALLED:

3. SPEAKING IN DIFFERENT KINDS OF TONGUES
4. INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES


1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.


THERE IS AN ABILITY OF SPEAKING THE TONGUES OF MEN AND ANGELS


1 Corinthians 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.


THERE ARE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT CALLED:


1. PROPHECY
2. ABILITY TO FATHOM ALL MYSTERIES AND KNOWLEDGE
3. FAITH


Acts 2:4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.


THIS EVENT TELLS THAT THERE IS AN ABILITY CALLED SPEAKING IN OTHER TONGUES AS THE SPIRIT ENABLED OTHERS.


1 Corinthians 12:28 And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.


IN THE CHURCH OF GOD, THERE ARE DIFFERENT ROLES:


1. APOSTLES
2. PROPHETS
3. TEACHERS
4. WORKERS OF MIRACLES
5. HEALERS
6. THOSE ABLE TO HELP OTHERS
7. THOSE WITH GIFT OF ADMINISTRATION
8. SPEAKING IN DIFFERENT KINDS OF TONGUES


1 Corinthians 12:30 Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?


THERE IS SEPARATION OF GIFTS AND NOT ALL CONTAIN THE GIFTS.


1 Corinthians 14:27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two--or at the most three--should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret.


WHEN THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO SPEAKS IN TONGUE, THERE SHOULD BE SOMEONE WHO WILL INTERPRET THESE.


1 Corinthians 14:18 I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.


PAUL HIMSELF EXCELS IN THE GIFT OF TONGUES MORE THAN OTHERS AT THAT TIME.


WHAT IS MY POINT?


THERE ARE CERTAIN GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT CALLED GIFT OF TONGUES, LANGUAGES, INTERPRETATIONS OF TONGUES, AND THE ABILITY TO FATHOM ALL MYSTERIES AND KNOWLEDGE.


THIS IS RECOGNIZED BY PAUL IN HIS WRITINGS.


THEREFORE, THEY ARE NOT FROM THE DEVIL BUT FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT.


NOW, SUPREME TO THESE GIFTS IS LOVE.


LOVING ONE ANOTHER AS GOD HAVE LOVED US IS SUPREME OVER THESE.


REGARDING ORATIONS.


WHAT ARE ORATIONS, FORMULA, AND POWER WORDS?


THEY ARE WORDS WITH A CERTAIN EFFECT AND POWER.


ARE THEY EVIL IN THEMSELVES?


John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.


IF THE WORD IS EVIL BY ITSELF, THEN, GOD WOULD NOT HAVE SURELY PUT THE WORD IN THE BEGINNING.


IF WORDS ARE EVIL, THEN GOD SHOULD NOT HAVE PLACED THE WORD WITH HIM.


IF WORDS ARE EVIL, GOD SHOULD NOT HAVE BESTOWED GODHOOD TO THE WORD.


YET, WHY IS THIS WRITTEN?


IT SHOWS THE NATURE OF WORDS.


THE FIRST NATURE OF WORDS IS IT IS THE EXPRESSION OF HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.


John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.


GOD EVEN INCARNATED THE WORD AND MADE IT DWELL AMONG US AS JESUS CHRIST.


THEREFORE, IN THE BEGINNING, THE NATURE OF WORDS ARE GOOD.


WHAT MADE THE WORDS EVIL?


Matthew 7:17 Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.


Matthew 12:35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.


Luke 6:45 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.


GOOD PERSONS WILL BRING GOOD THINGS OUT OF HIS HEART.
EVIL MEN BRING EVIL THINGS OUT OF HIS HEART.


Proverbs 10:11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked.


Matthew 15:18 But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.'


Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.


THEREFORE, THE WORDS SPOKEN HAS ITS EVIL ROOTS FROM THE INSIDE OF THE HEART OF MAN.


IF THE MAN HAS EVIL INTENTS IN THE WORDS HE PRONOUNCE, HE IS EMPOWERING HIS WORDS WITH EVIL.


IF THE MAN HAS GOOD INTENTIONS IN THE WORDS HE PRONOUNCE, HE IS EMPOWERING HIS WORDS WITH GOOD.


IN SUM, WHAT DETERMINES THE QUALITY OF THE POWER OF THE WORDS IS WHAT HEART IT CAME FROM.


THEREFORE, WE CANNOT OUTRIGHT SAY ANY ORATIONS, FORMULA WORDS, OR FORMULAS ARE EVIL IN THEMSELVES.

THIS IS AN ORATION USED IN HEALING.


THIS MEANS JESUS IS THE SAVIOR.


IF WE SAY ORATIONS ARE EVIL, THEN JESUS THE SAVIOR IS EVIL.


ANOTHER ORATION:


AL EL SHADDAI ALOHAYIM ADONAI AGLA


THIS MEANS GOD, WHO IS POWERFUL, THE ELOHIM, THE LORD, WHO IS MIGHTY FOREVER.


IF WE SAY ALL ORATIONS ARE EVIL, THEN GOD IS EVIL.

SANCTA- HOLY
TRINITAS- THREE PERSONS
OMO- THOU ART INDESTRUCTABLE ROCK

IS THIS EVIL? IF ALL ORATIONS ARE EVIL, THEN CHRIST, THE HOLY THREE PERSONS (FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT)., THE INDESTRUCTABLE ROCK, THE TRIUMPHANT ONE, OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS ALSO CONCLUDED AS EVIL.


WHAT DOES THIS POST TELLS US?


WE SUSPEND OUR JUDGMENT REGARDING ORATIONS, FORMULAE, OR POWER WORDS.


WHY? THE ONE WHO CAN DISCERN THESE WORDS FAIRLY ARE PEOPLE GIVEN BY THE SPIRIT TO INTERPRET THE MEANINGS OF TONGUES (INTERPRETATION OF THESE WORDS), AND THOSE WITH THE ABILITY TO FATHOM MYSTERIES AND KNOWLEDGE.


THEREFORE, IT IS BEST THAT A FOLLOWER OF GOD WOULD INSTEAD FOLLOW THE WILL OF GOD WHICH IS LOVING ONE ANOTHER, AND AVOID THE PERILS OF JUDGING OR BEING A JUDGE- FOR JUDGMENT IS UPON THOSE WHO ASSUME THE POSITION OF JUDGMENT.


WHAT IS ANOTHER WAY TO ASCERTAIN THAT THE SPIRIT IS FROM GOD?


1 John 4:2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,


I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS COME IN THE FLESH AND HE IS FROM GOD.


I BELIEVE THAT HE IS THE WORD OF GOD, THE WISDOM OF GOD, AND THE POWER OF GOD.


I BELIEVE HE IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD, AND THROUGH UNITY WITH HIM WE BECOME PART OF HIS BODY.


I BELIEVE HE IS THE HEAD, AND THOSE WHO UNITED WITH HIM ARE PARTS OF HIS BODY, WHO SHOULD FUNCTION FOR THE GREATER GOOD OF MANKIND.


I BELIEVE IN HIS LOVE, AND THAT HIS CENTRAL COMMANDMENT IS LOVE.
I BELIEVE THAT THE SPIRIT OF HIS COMMANDMENTS IS LOVE, AND IF WE LIVE OUR LIFE IN LOVE, WE ARE IN UNITY WITH HIS COMMANDS AND WILL.
