WHO DOES GOD CUT-OFF?


Psalm 37:9 For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.


EVIL MEN WILL BE CUT OFF FROM GOD.


Psalm 37:22 those the LORD blesses will inherit the land, but those he curses will be cut off.


THOSE WHOM GOD CURSE WILL BE CUT OFF.


Psalm 37:28 For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off;


THE OFFSPRING OF THE WICKED WILL BE CUT OFF.


Psalm 37:38 But all sinners will be destroyed; the future of the wicked will be cut off.


THE FUTURE OF THE WICKED WILL BE CUT OFF.
SINNERS WILL BE DESTROYED.


WHO AMONG US DO NOT SIN?


NOT ONE OF US IS FREE FROM SIN.
THEREFORE, WE WILL BE DESTROYED.


UNLESS, WE CHANGE FOR THE BETTER:


Psalm 34:14 Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.


THOSE WHO DO EVIL BEFORE SHOULD TURN FROM EVIL AND DO GOOD.
ONE MUST SEEK PEACE AND PURSUE IT.


AS A SINNER, HOW CAN WE BE SAVED FROM DESTRUCTION?


Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.


WE FIRST MUST BELIEVE IN THE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST JESUS, THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD.


WHY? 


Romans 14:9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.


CHRIST WILL NOT BECOME LORD OF BOTH DEAD AND THE LIVING IF HE DID NOT DIE AND DID NOT RESURRECT.


1 Thessalonians 4:14 We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.


THEREFORE, IF WE BELIEVE THAT CHRIST REALLY DIED AND ROSE AGAIN FROM THE DEAD, WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP (DIE) IN DOING WHAT HE COMMANDED IN OUR LIFE, WE WILL BE WITH HIM THROUGH GOD.


1 Thessalonians 5:10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.


AND BECAUSE CHRIST DIED FOR US, THERE IS A CHANCE FOR US TO LIVE WITH HIM IN SPIRIT WHETHER WE ARE CURRENTLY ALIVE OR DEAD.


WHEN WE COME INTO REPENTANCE, AND ACCEPT THE SALVATION OFFERED BY CHRIST, WE ENTER INTO A NEW COVENANT WITH GOD, AND WE ARE BORN INTO A NEW LIFE WITH CHRIST.


THOSE WHO ENTER INTO THE NEW COVENANT IS BORN OF GOD.


1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.


WHEN ANYONE IS BORN OF GOD, HE WILL NOT CONTINUE TO SIN.


THIS IS SO BECAUSE GOD'S SEED IS IN HIM, AND HE WILL NOT GO ON SINNING, FOR HE HAS BEEN BORN OF GOD.


1 John 3:6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.


THOSE WHO LIVE IN CHRIST WILL EVENTUALLY STOP SINNING.


1 John 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.


WHEN ONE IS BORN OF GOD, HE WILL OVERCOME THE WORLD.
HE WILL OVERCOME THE TENDENCY TO SIN EVENTUALLY.


1 John 5:18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him.


THOSE WHO ARE BORN OF GOD WILL NOT CONTINUE TO SIN.


WHY? GOD KEEPS HIM SAFE.


THE EVIL ONE CANNOT HARM HIM.


WHEN WE ACCEPT CHRIST, AND WE ENTER INTO THE NEW AND EVERLASTING COVENANT WITH GOD, WE BECOME BORNE OF GOD, AND OUR OLD SINFUL SELF DIES WITH IT.


Romans 14:8 If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. 
So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.


WE THEN BELONG TO THE LORD, AND WE LIVE AND DIE FOR OUR LORD.


Ephesians 5:2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.


WE LIVE A LIFE BASED ON LOVE.


John 14:23 Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.


WHAT IS THE TEACHING OF CHRIST?


John 13:34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.


WE LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS CHRIST HAVE LOVED US.


James 2:8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing right.


WE DO RIGHT IN LOVING OUR NEIGHBOR AS OURSELVES.


Galatians 5:14 The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."


TO LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR AS OURSELVES IS THE SUMMATION OF THE ENTIRE LAW.


MAY WE LIVE OUR LIVES BASED ON LOVE.
