HELPING THE POOR

IT IS GOD WHO STRENGTHENS US.

IT IS GOD WHO EXALTS THE HUMBLE.

IT IS GOD WHO PROVIDES FOR THE POOR AND THE NEEDY.

WHEN WE HELP THE POOR AND THE NEEDY, WE BECOME GOD'S INSTRUMENTS TO EXTEND HELP TO THOSE WHO ARE THE LEAST OF OUR BRETHREN.

THERE IS A PROMISE GIVEN BY GOD TO THOSE WHO ARE HELPING THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED, AND TO THOSE WHO ARE HELPING THE SERVANTS OF GOD IN THEIR MISSION WORKS.

THE PROMISES FOR THOSE WHO HELP IN THE MISSION WORKS OF GOD ARE THIS:

Matthew 10:42 And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward."

Hebrews 6:10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

Proverbs 19:17 He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done.

2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

Proverbs 22:9 A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.

Proverbs 28:27 He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses.

Matthew 7:2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Mark 4:24 "Consider carefully what you hear," he continued. "With the measure you use, it will be measured to you--and even more.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
