REGARDING THE HOLY NAMES WHICH OUR ORGANIZATION STANDS BY:

1. ABBA

There are two important verses declaring that God's believers are to refer to Him as Abba:

• Romans 8:15 (NKJV) '"For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, 'Abba, Father.'"
• Galatians 4:6 (NKJV) ' "And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, 'Abba, Father!'"

The Meaning of the Title Abba and Supporting Bible Verses

Abba is the Aramaic word for father. It was used by children to address their fathers, and by students to address their teachers.

Bible Verses That Support Addressing God as Father

There are other Bible verses that support the right to address God as father:

• James 3:9 (NIV)'“ "With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father."
• 1 John 3:1 (NIV) ' "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!"
• 2 Corinthians 6:18 (NIV) ' "I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."
• Ephesians 5:19-20 (NIV) ' "Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

In the Tanakh, YHVH is the personal name of God and his most frequent designation, occurring over 6,800 times.  This is the Ineffable Name or Unutterable Name of the God of Israel.  Because it is composed from the four Hebrew letters YOD, HE, VAU, HE, it is also referred to as the "Tetragrammaton," which simply means "the four letters."

THEREFORE, SINCE THE NAME OF GOD Y-H-V-H, OR Y-H-W-H HAS DIFFERENT VERSIONS, AND UP TO THIS POINT THE EXACT PRONUNCIATION OF THE SACRED NAME IS ONLY KNOWN TO THE VERY FEW AND SELECT, WE RESPECT THE VERSIONS OF THE PRONUNCIATIONS OF THE FOUR LETTER NAME OF GOD, AND DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF Y-H-V-H/ Y-H-W-H, BE IT YAHWEH, JEHOVAH, JAHAVEH, YEHOWAH, YAOHUWAH, YAOHUAH, YAHOWAH, ETC.

3. YShWA HMSYH/ YShWa HMSYcH

THIS IS ALSO KNOWN AS YESHU'AH HAMMASIAH, YASHUWAH HAMMASIAH, YEHOSHUWAHAMAZIAH, YEHOSUAHAMMASIAH, YSHWA HMSYCH,  ETC.

THIS IS THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IN HEBREW.

Yeshua
(ye-SHOO-a) Yeshua; Jesus (Matt. 1:21; Luke 2:21). Note that the Name "Jesus" appears 973 times in the Brit Chadashah.

HaMashiach
(ham-mah-SHEE-akh) The Annointed. The Messiah (John 1:41). Occurs over 500 times in the Brit Chadashah. "The Christ"  in Koine Greek.
