LOVE AND FORGIVE OUR ENEMIES

There are many instances in life that people accuse us, say all manner of evil against us, and blame us for the faults we did not do.


People at times are wicked and evil that they will destroy us in every possible way just to vent their anger against us.


The initial response of many is to be angry, to fight off these people, and to destroy/ neutralize these people before they destroy you.


But when we are walking God's path,
we forgive them.


We pray for them.
We bless them.


For once, we are like them.


But when we have submitted to God's will,
we forgive others, we love others.


Even our enemies we forgive and we love.


For our residence in this world is temporary.


We are citizens of the Kingdom of God.


Therefore, as citizens of that Kingdom, we follow the supreme command: LOVE ONE ANOTHER


Whether they are friends or foe, we love them.


This we do because we love God, who created us all.


We live in this world of limitations, and we are subjects to many weaknesses.


We often make mistakes.
We often sin.


That is why we are commanded to forgive and to love.


For God understands our limitations and weaknesses, God forgives us.


God loves us in spite of all our limitations and weaknesses.


We in turn, have to forgive others, and love them.


This is the command God gave us: 
love one another, forgive one another.


May God help us live love and forgiveness.
