FAITH WITH DEEDS

IT IS BETTER FOR A PERSON TO EXTEND HELP TO THE POOR AND THE NEEDY, TO THOSE WHO ARE LESSER PRIVILEGED, WHO HAVE LESS IN LIFE, THAN TO GIVE SERMONS OF ANY SORTS, ACCUSING PEOPLE OF EVILS AND WRONG DOINGS, YET FAILING TO EXTEND A HELPING HAND.

IT IS WRITTEN:

James 2:26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

FAITH WITHOUT DEEDS IS USELESS AND DEAD.

James 2:24 You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.

A PERSON IS JUSTIFIED BY WHAT HE DOES AND NOT BY FAITH ALONE.

James 2:20 You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?

FAITH MUST BE MANIFESTED THROUGH ACTIONS AND NOT BY MERE WORDS.

James 2:18 But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.

FAITH IN GOD IS MANIFESTED THROUGH DEEDS, NOT BY WORDS.

GOD WILL JUDGE US ACCORDING TO OUR DEEDS...

WE WILL BE ALL SUBJECT TO THIS- AND WHAT WE WILL RECEIVE WILL DEPEND ON WHAT WE HAVE DONE....

Ezekiel 24:14 "'I the LORD have spoken. The time has come for me to act. I will not hold back; I will not have pity, nor will I relent. You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions, declares the Sovereign LORD.'"

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

Revelation 22:12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.

Isaiah 59:18 According to what they have done, so will he repay wrath to his enemies and retribution to his foes; he will repay the islands their due.

Jeremiah 32:19 great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds. Your eyes are open to all the ways of men; you reward everyone according to his conduct and as his deeds deserve.

Hebrews 6:10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

GOD REMEMBERS THE GOOD WORKS AND THE LOVE WE HAVE SHOWN AS WE HELP HIS PEOPLE.

WHO ARE THE PEOPLE OF GOD?

1 Peter 2:10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

THE PEOPLE OF GOD ARE THOSE WHO RECEIVE GOD'S MERCY.

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE WHO RECEIVE GOD'S MERCY?

Romans 9:18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.

THE PEOPLE OF GOD WHO RECEIVE GOD'S MERCY ARE MERCIFUL PEOPLE...
THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE MERCY IN THEIR HEARTS ARE GOD'S PEOPLE...

THE LORD SAID TO ISAIAH DURING HIS TIME:

Isaiah 6:9-10 He said, "Go and tell this people: "'Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.

'Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed."

GOD HAS MADE THE HEARTS OF EVIL PEOPLE CALLOUSED, SO THAT THEY MAY NOT TURN BACK TO GOD....

John 12:40 "He has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn--and I would heal them."

Matthew 13:15 For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.'

Acts 28:27 For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.

IF A PERSON FAILS TO HAVE MERCY IN ONE'S HEART, WHOSE HEARTS ARE CALLOUSED TO ANSWER THE PLIGHT OF THE NEEDY, AND CONSTANTLY IGNORE THE CALL FOR HELP OF THOSE IN NEED, IT IS A TRUE INDICATION THAT THESE PERSONS ARE NOT GOD'S PEOPLE- FOR THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED GOD'S MERCY.

THESE PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED MERCY HAVE CALLOUSED HEARTS, AND WILL FOCUS ON ALL SORTS OF EVIL DIRECTED AGAINST THE DOERS OF MERCY, RATHER THAN LEND A HELPING HAND TO HELP THOSE IN NEED...

TO BELONG TO GOD'S PEOPLE, WE NEED TO RECEIVE THE MERCY OF GOD..,
THE TRUE INDICATOR THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED GOD'S MERCY IS THAT WE TOO, ARE MERCIFUL... AND WILL NOT TURN A BLIND EYE OR A DEAF EAR TO THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED...
