ON PRAYER, TO RIGHTEOUSNESS

Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.


IN THIS VERSE, WE ARE ASKED TO BE JOYFUL IN HOPE, PATIENT IN AFFLICTION, AND FAITHFUL IN OUR PRAYERS.


Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.


IN THIS VERSE, THE FOLLOWING POINTS ARE EMPHASIZED:


1. PRAY IN THE SPIRIT ON ALL OCCASIONS

Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.


THIS VERSE POINTS OUT THAT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST TOLD HIS DISCIPLES A PARABLE TO SHOW THEM THAT THEY SHOULD ALWAYS PRAY AND NOT GIVE UP.

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

3. IT IS GOD'S WILL THAT WE DO THIS IN CHRIST JESUS


Ephesians 5:20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.


THIS VERSE EMPHASIZE THAT WE ALWAYS GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR EVERYTHING IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.


1 Timothy 2:3 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone--


for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.


This is good, and pleases God our Savior,




THIS VERSE EMPHASIZE THAT OUR PRAYER, REQUESTS, INTERCESSION AND THANKSGIVING WILL BE MADE FOR EVERYONE.


WE INCLUDE IN OUR PRAYERS OUR LEADERS, PERSONS IN AUTHORITY- FOR THE SAKE THAT WE LIVE PEACEFUL AND QUIET LIVES IN ALL GODLINESS AND HOLINESS.


THIS PRAYER PLEASES GOD.


1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."


IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE ARE RIGHTEOUS BY HEART, SO THAT GOD WILL LISTEN TO OUR PRAYERS AND WILL SEE US THROUGH.


WHAT IS RIGHTEOUSNESS?


Psalm 119:137 Righteous are you, O LORD, and your laws are right.


FIRST OF ALL, OUR GOD IS RIGHTEOUS, AND GOD'S LAWS ARE RIGHT.


THEREFORE, IF WE FOLLOW GOD'S LAWS, WE BECAME RIGHTEOUS.


AMONG GOD'S LAWS, WHICH IS THE SUM TOTAL OF ALL THE LAWS OF GOD?


Galatians 5:14 The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."


Matthew 7:12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.


THEREFORE, IF WE LIVE IN LOVING OUR NEIGHBOR AS OURSELVES, WE ARE IN THE RIGHTEOUS PATH.


BY BASING OUR LIVES IN THE LOVE OF NEIGHBOR AS OURSELVES, WE FULFILL THE ENTIRE LAW.
